WhatsApp new Features for iOS users roll out

WhatsApps has roll out its new Features for iOS . The new updated whatsapp has interesting features such as Snapchat Like image Editing features as Add Emojis and text on images. One touch Zooming capabilities,recording a video and a front facing flash for your selfies, delete multiple chats simultaneously.



Image drawing and Stickers

Now WhatsApp add new editing tool that allow you to add stickers or text to the picture. You also have the option to annotate and draw on top of the images, along with the options cropping and rotating. There’s a bunch of stickers including arrow sign, dialogue balloons and other emojis. There’s an Undo option too that lets you reverse several changes. The set of tools appear on top after you’ve clicked a picture. There’s also a colour palette to choose colours from while texting or drawing with a pencil.

Easly Delete, Archive or mark chats as read
WhatsApp Edit button has also been updated for iOS app. Now, it allows users to quickly delete, mark as read, and archive multiple chats simultaneously. The delete button activates only for private chats, and group chats still need to be deleted one at a time.
However, the Edit feature allows users to Mark as read, and archive all group and personal chats.

 Bigger emojis
WhatsApp for iPhone includes three times bigger emoji. Single emojis as a chat message will appear a little larger than the size they used to be but when sent singularly. The size further decreases as the number of emojis increase upto 4, after which they scale back to their original size.

Sending one emoji will appear much bigger than usual, two emojis in medium and three emojis in a smaller size but bigger then regular size. Four and above emojis will scale back to the regular size.
However, if the user decides to send multiple emojis at one time, then those will show up in their regular sizes.

Front-facing flash WhatsApp camera
The updated WhatsApp camera now features Front-facing flash capabilities. The front-facing flash feature makes your screen light up white when taking a selfie in low-light conditions.
Note that this new feature will only work in WhatsApp’s camera, that can be launched by tapping on the camera icon placed next to the text box in your chat window.
Zoom in/out videos
The new WhatsApp one-finger videos option lets you zoom in and zoom-out while recording videos. To use the feature, you need to slide your finger up or down in order to zoom in or out, while recording videos in the app. The features only work with WhatsApp’s camera. The feature was first seen on Snapchat, followed by Instagram.
Chats open faster than before
Now you will open your chats faster. Previously, the chat would scroll up then tap on ” load earlier chats ” said mark, scroll again to load earlier chats. However, now you can continuously scroll to the beginning or to end of the chat, without pauses.
WhatsApp Web/Desktop in settings
On the iPhone you should be able to see an option as WhatsApp Web/ Desktop, a feature which was introduced to run the messaging app on PCs as well. With this setting, you can use your WhatsApp for web settings directly on your phone itself.
These are WhatsApp new features for iOS none of these features has been rolled out on the Android platform, as yet.
